Training and information
Offers trainings and sessions of information in topics so diverse as organizational, technical, costs calculation, cultural identity, causes of the exclusion, injustice and racism, dignity, solidarity, world situation, foreign competition, etc.; facilitates exchanges with other institutions or groups if requested; and allows the participation of producers to national and international meetings about fair trade and solidary economy.
Development of products
Gives support in the design of the products, in collaboration with the groups of producers themselves, to get a better reception on the markets, still maintaining elements of cultural identity; offers technical aid to permit the artisans to work in group; offers advances for the purchase of raw materials under certain conditions, or manages out wholesale purchases for the groups that need it.
Commercialization
Realises the last quality control of the deliveries after the quality control carried out by the producers themselves; provides the packing service; processes the commercialization, more specifically the exportation.
Promotion
Promotes the products and follows up the clients.
Organization of encounters
COSART periodically promotes regional and national meetings between the groups of producers and meetings of exchange as well between the producers and its partners of the northern countries and others.
